What Questions Would YOU Ask a Successful Direct Marketer?

I’m going to InfusionCon in March.  While there, I’ll be interviewing some of the small business owner-attendees on a very short video and writing a short article about them.

I wanted to create a list of questions that they can choose to answer.  I’m looking for a mix between fun and functional.

So what questions would you like to see successful direct marketers answer?

  1. Your a-ha moment.  Tell us about the moment you knew this would your business.
  2. What was your most successful program this year?
  3. Tell me about a recent customer problem and how you solved it?
  4. What’s your favorite way to connect with customers?
  5. What’s your biggest marketing fear and how do you overcome it?

  7. What was your biggest mistake and how did you fix it?
  8. What was the most valuable lesson you learned in business?
  9. What do you like to put sugar on?
  10. What was the sweetest thing a customer has said to you?  Why?  What prompted it?
